Veterans Art Center Tampa Bay Announces "The Art & Acoustic: Sunset Gathering" to Elevate Veteran Artists and Raise Funds for Wellness Programs
TAMPA, FL — Veterans Art Center Tampa Bay (VACTB) today announced The Art & Acoustic: Sunset Gathering, an intimate outdoor evening event designed to foster community connection, showcase local veteran artists, and raise critical funds for veteran arts and mental health initiatives. Held during National Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month, the gathering offers a relaxed setting centered on hope, recovery, and resilience.
The event also serves as the official community kick-off and exclusive teaser for VACTB’s upcoming Major Benefit Concert at The Dallas Bull on November 15th.
Attendees will experience a multi-sensory evening featuring live acoustic sets on the outdoor Tiki Deck, local food and beverages from Ferg's, and a Pop-Up Gallery Walk highlighting original artwork created by local veterans exploring themes of healing, strength, and life after service. Select art pieces will be available for purchase and auction.

In partnership with Rise Stronger™ and 3D Nation Music, the event underscores the immediate mission: securing sponsorship support to launch the Rise Stronger™ pilot program. The pilot demonstrates how music, fitness, movement, storytelling, and mental health awareness serve as practical recovery tools for service members and their families. Through 3D Nation Music’s initiative—Music for Soldiers by Soldiers—the program connects creative expression directly to peer support and purpose.
