GPS4VETS Charity Golf Classic
GPS4VETS Charity Golf Classic
Over the past year, one truth has become clear:
Veterans and transitioning service members don’t just need more networking events—they need meaningful time with business owners who are ready to hire and retain military talent.
That’s why our 2026 Golf Classic is now a 48‑player, 9‑hole, 5 PM shotgun start, designed to create real connection in a focused, high‑value environment.
Why We Made This Change
Traditional golf tournaments are fun, but they don’t always create the depth of conversation needed for someone in transition to truly be seen, understood, and supported. By shifting to a smaller, more intimate format, we’re creating space for:
• Business owners to spend real time with enlisted service members and Veterans
• Veterans to share their skills, goals, and stories without feeling rushed
• Authentic relationships to form—relationships that lead to meaningful careers
• Employers to not only hire military talent, but retain it through understanding, connection, and trust
Our Ideal Team Structure
2 business owners + 2 Veterans or transitioning service members
This pairing allows both sides to learn from each other, build rapport, and explore opportunities in a relaxed, supportive setting.

This is more than a golf event—it’s a bridge between those who served and the business leaders who want to support them.
I hope you’ll join us in creating the kind of connections that change lives.
Military Creator Con 2026
This conference brings the people who actually matter together.
Military Creator Con is built around one unfair advantage most civilian creators never get:
A room full of people who already understand you, who are built differently.
Same service background
Same values.
Same language.
📅 April 16–18, 2026
📍 Arlington, TX | Hilton Arlington Hotel
This isn’t random networking.
It’s concentrated connection with purpose.
You’ll learn from military-connected creators, entrepreneurs, and leaders who have already navigated transition, reinvention, and the heavy-lift of building something real after service.
Skills are important.
But proximity to the right people changes your trajectory.
That’s what MCC is designed to do.

The Lightning Community Hero program celebrates grassroots heroes whose noble efforts make a positive impact in our community. Since the launch of the Community Hero program in 2011, it has been our honor to tell the stories of each awardee’s rich history of volunteerism and good works via an in-game video that illustrates how the Hero is using his or her life to help others less fortunate, followed by the Foundation presenting the Hero with a $50,000 grant designated to the charities of their choice. The goal of the Community Hero program is not only to tell the stories of these incredible individuals, but also inspire our fans and those in attendance at our games to get involved and give back to the community.
