GPS4VETS Charity Golf Classic

GPS4VETS Charity Golf Classic

Over the past year, one truth has become clear:

Veterans and transitioning service members don’t just need more networking events—they need meaningful time with business owners who are ready to hire and retain military talent.

That’s why our 2026 Golf Classic is now a 48‑player, 9‑hole, 5 PM shotgun start, designed to create real connection in a focused, high‑value environment.

Why We Made This Change

Traditional golf tournaments are fun, but they don’t always create the depth of conversation needed for someone in transition to truly be seen, understood, and supported. By shifting to a smaller, more intimate format, we’re creating space for:

•     Business owners to spend real time with enlisted service members and Veterans

•     Veterans to share their skills, goals, and stories without feeling rushed

•     Authentic relationships to form—relationships that lead to meaningful careers

•     Employers to not only hire military talent, but retain it through understanding, connection, and trust

Our Ideal Team Structure

2 business owners + 2 Veterans or transitioning service members

This pairing allows both sides to learn from each other, build rapport, and explore opportunities in a relaxed, supportive setting.

This is more than a golf event—it’s a bridge between those who served and the business leaders who want to support them.

I hope you’ll join us in creating the kind of connections that change lives.

Military Creator Con 2026

Military Creator Con 2026

This conference brings the people who actually matter together.

Military Creator Con is built around one unfair advantage most civilian creators never get:
A room full of people who already understand you, who are built differently.

Same service background
Same values.
Same language.

📅 April 16–18, 2026
📍 Arlington, TX | Hilton Arlington Hotel

This isn’t random networking.
It’s concentrated connection with purpose.

You’ll learn from military-connected creators, entrepreneurs, and leaders who have already navigated transition, reinvention, and the heavy-lift of building something real after service.

Skills are important.
But proximity to the right people changes your trajectory.

That’s what MCC is designed to do.

The “Disco Fever” Dance Party

“Disco Fever” Joint Fundraiser for June 20th 2026

TAMPA BAY, FL – Dust off your bell-bottoms and polish your platform shoes! The Veterans Art Center Tampa Bay (VACTB) and GPS4Vets are proud to announce their 2026 joint fundraiser: The “Disco Fever” Dance Party. This high-energy event will take place on Saturday, June 20 2026, bringing the community together to support mental health, career transition, and artistic healing for Florida’s veteran population.

Following the success of their previous collaborations, these two leading veteran-service organizations are joining forces once again to bridge the gap between military service and civilian success. All proceeds from the evening will be split between VACTB’s alternative art therapy programs and GPS4Vets’ comprehensive transition navigation services.

“Art and community are two of the most powerful tools we have for veteran suicide prevention and healing,” says Major Mack Macksam, Founder of the Veterans Art Center Tampa Bay. “This disco party isn’t just about the music; it’s about celebrating the resilience of our heroes and ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive.”

Event Highlights Include:

  • Dance Competition: A "Best Disco Moves" contest judged by local celebrities.

  • Costume Contest: Prizes for the most authentic 70s attire.

  • Silent Auction: Featuring unique artwork created by local veteran artists.

  • Interactive Photo Booth: Capturing memories with retro-themed props.

  • The Signature "Major Mack" Performance: A special appearance by the VACTB founder.

🕺Get ready to boogie! We’re turning back the clock to the 1970s for a night of glitter, groove, and giving back. Join the Veterans Art Center Tampa Bay and GPS4Vets for the most electrifying joint fundraiser of the year!

Why We’re Dancing: Our veterans have served us—now it’s time to serve them. This event directly funds art therapy programs for mental health and career transition services for veterans navigating civilian life in Florida. Every ticket purchased helps a hero find their "new normal."

The Vibe: Think Studio 54 meets Saturday Night Fever. We’re transforming [Venue Name] into a disco wonderland. Whether you’re a "Dancing Queen" or just here for the "Stayin' Alive" vibes, there’s a spot for you on the floor.

What to Expect:

  • Live DJ spinning the greatest hits of the disco era.

  • Costume Contest: Wear your best sequins, afros, and polyester!

  • Veteran Art Gallery: Browse and bid on incredible pieces from our VACTB artists.

  • 50/50 Raffle & Silent Auction: Win big while doing good.

Don’t miss the party of the summer! Let's show our veterans that Tampa Bay has their back—and some pretty great dance moves, too.

“Transitioning to civilian life can be a daunting dance of its own,” says Jennifer Willams.  CEO /Founder for GPS4Vets. “By partnering with VACTB, we are able to provide a holistic support system—addressing both the professional needs and the emotional well-being of our veterans.”

About Veterans Art Center Tampa Bay: VACTB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing alternative therapies through the arts for military, veterans, first responders, and their families. Their mission focuses on mental health, healing, and suicide prevention through creative expression.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Join us for a powerful and lasting tribute to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our Constitutional freedoms. We are seeking sponsors for our GoldStars Tribute Wall™, a poignant memorial dedicated to honoring those who fell while serving in the United States military from the beginning of the Gulf War through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

This important initiative will be highlighted at an event taking place from October 31st to November 2nd at Bert’s Barracuda Harley-Davidson.

Our mission with the GoldStars Tribute Wall™ is two-fold: to provide a sacred space for remembrance and healing for the families of our fallen heroes, and to educate the general public about the immense sacrifices made to preserve the liberties we enjoy today. This wall serves as a constant reminder that freedom is not free, and that the names etched upon it represent the highest form of patriotism and dedication.
